Custom Maids

About our Employer Partner

ESTABLISHED IN 1978, CUSTOM MAIDS IS TORONTO'S ORIGINAL MAID SERVICE.

We are the City's oldest and largest residential cleaning service. For 45 years, our quality service has always been in high demand - spring, summer, winter, and fall. Through the years, we have maintained a staff of 60 to 120 residential cleaners, and have never laid off a single cleaner. Many CUSTOM MAIDS staff members have been with us for 10, 15, 20, 25, even 30 years.

Do You Possess a Strong Work Ethic?

Residential cleaning is physically demanding work.  It is only suitable for those who truly enjoy labor-intensive employment.

Do You Have a Strong Service Orientation?

RESIDENTIAL CLEANING IS ABOUT PLEASING A VERY DISCERNING CLIENTELE.  It is only appropriate for those with a very strong "desire to serve others" and a willingness to go beyond  the "call of duty" in order to satisfy their clients.

Are You a Continous Learner?

Regardless of how many years of experience you may have, all new recruits are required to complete the CUSTOM MAIDS HOUSEKEEPER TRAINING PROGRAM (involving classroom and practical components). Only those who successfully complete the CUSTOM MAIDS Training are added to our staff.

Once employed, our standards are maintained through an ongoing program of training and supervision. Staff-members are expected to continuously improve their techniques, time management skills and knowledge of cleaning products.

At  CUSTOM MAIDS, we are all learners. We want to get better and better, month after month, year after year.
